Communications Committee

The Communications Committee focus areas are website management, social media, and the CPS newsletter. Specifically, members help create content for social media posts, review the CPS website for accuracy and updates, and optimize newsletter communication. Other committee activities vary annually in alignment with strategic priorities of the organization. Focus areas for this year are member engagement and workplace conditions.

2024-2025 priorities:

  • Develop clear structures and processes to support the work of the CPS Communications Committee.  
  • Utilize data analytics to assess effectiveness of communication strategies.  
  • Collaborate with the Workplace Conditions Taskforce to create a strategic communications plan.  
  • Collaborate with the Membership Committee to create strategic communications plan regarding the value of membership.  
  • Enhance communication with current members through various methods (e.g., text messaging).
